Career Matchup is designed to provide source-backed career information without accounts, advertising profiles, or unnecessary personal data collection.
What the site receives
Search requests include the query needed to return career suggestions. Standard hosting logs may include a timestamp, request path, response status, and network information used for security and operations.
The private development build does not require an account. It does not sell personal information or use career searches to create advertising profiles. The application error boundary may send a limited error message, error digest, and page path to the first-party error endpoint so failures can be investigated.
Analytics and cookies
Optional analytics are disabled unless an endpoint is explicitly configured by the deployment owner.
No advertising cookies are used by the application. If privacy-conscious analytics are enabled later, the deployment must document the provider, retention period, and consent requirements before public beta access.
Source data
Career records are built from documented public datasets and are not personal profiles.
Career Matchup publishes occupation-level information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the O*NET Database. Source attribution, release, reference period, occupation code, and availability metadata remain attached to displayed facts.
Your choices
The site has no account dashboard or user profile to delete.
Because this private build does not publish a contact address or operate an account system, there is no public self-service privacy request channel yet. A reviewed contact channel will be added before public beta access is opened.
